Kasteelspoort: A Scenic & Rewarding Ascent on the beautiful Twelve Apostles.
Kasteelspoort is a classic and rewarding route that ascends the Twelve Apostles, a dramatic chain of peaks extending behind Table Mountain’s famous flat-topped summit. Known for its ever-changing views and natural beauty, this trail offers a diverse and immersive hiking experience.
The route has gained popularity thanks to the Diving Board, a breathtaking rock ledge perfect for photos. Along the way, you’ll traverse secluded valleys, wind-sculpted rock formations, and rich fynbos landscapes, with spectacular ocean and peninsula views unfolding at every turn.
For those eager to extend the adventure, we continue the hike to visit the magical playground of Tranquility cracks with a stop at the secret rendezvous cave, making for a truly fulfilling mountain experience.
